GaragePark is the leading developer and operator of premium self-storage parks in the Netherlands. The company provides secure, private units that serve as storage, workspaces, or vehicle stalls for both entrepreneurs and consumers. Our investment
We partnered with GaragePark in 2022, alongside founder and CEO Rick Venema, to support the next phase of the company’s development. At the time, GaragePark had built a strong foundation and brand, but the business was in transition: moving from a build-to-sell model to a build-to-let strategy that would support recurring revenues and long-term value creation.
Together with management, we have refined the expansion strategy, focusing on high-demand urban and peri-urban locations, and supported the company in scaling its operating model and securing long-term financing. We are also working to prepare for international expansion, with the first steps into the German market already underway.
The self-storage market is evolving, with demand driven by urban density, flexible working, and small business growth. GaragePark is ideally positioned to meet that demand with high-quality, secure, and accessible space. Together with the team, we continue to build the leading self-storage platform for entrepreneurs in the Netherlands and beyond.
